Everest Re Group, Ltd. announced today that Mariza Costa has joined the Company as Vice President of Investor and Rating Agency Relations.

WARREN, NEW JERSEY – January 14, 2021 – Everest Re Group, Ltd. announced today that Mariza Costa has joined the Company as Vice President of Investor and Rating Agency Relations. She will be based in the company’s U.S. Headquarters in Warren, New Jersey and will report to Jon Levenson, Head of Investor and Rating Agency Relations.

Mariza joins Everest from AM Best where she was an Associate Director focusing on reinsurance and large commercial ratings. She previously worked as an equity research analyst at Stifel Nicolaus covering property and casualty re/insurance, as a financial manager at Allianz, and has also worked in corporate investor relations for companies outside the insurance industry.

Commenting on the appointment, Jon Levenson noted that “Mariza brings a unique skill set and directly applicable experience to the role at Everest. Our department manages rating agency relations, capital modeling and analytics in addition to our investor relations responsibilities, and we are very pleased to have Mariza join the team to enhance our capabilities in these areas.”
