Everest Insurance™’s Specialty Insurance Group (SIG) Launches New Casino and Gaming Industry Insurance Program

Specialty Insurance Group (SIG), a unit of Everest Insurance, has announced the creation of a new offering designed specifically for the casino and gaming industry.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Mar. 29, 2016) – Specialty Insurance Group (SIG), a unit of Everest Insurance, has announced the creation of a new offering designed specifically for the casino and gaming industry.

The program was developed to directly address the wide array of risk exposures faced by members of the casino and gaming industry, ranging from small card or slot parlors to full-fledged casinos. While the program is a recent addition to the suite of products offered by SIG, the senior team at SIG has many years of accumulated experience providing insurance for the gaming industry. SIG foresees their mix of property & casualty coverages including contingency (event cancellation/prize indemnity) making a major impact for both their business and the gaming industry.

“SIG has identified a need for higher quality options to address the specialty insurance and risk management needs of the members of the gaming industry,” said Greg Mosher, SIG Managing Director. “We are excited to launch what we strongly believe will be a game changer in this industry. As always, SIG is eager to make an impact and work with industry members to address their unique challenges.”

The program will be led by Lorrie Miller, Senior Vice President, as well as gaming industry veteran Joseph Zinnecker, Director of Loss Control, who brings over 20 years of risk management and loss control experience with land-based and river boat casinos.

“We bring complex risk management and loss control experience to the gaming industry” said Zinnecker. “Our philosophy is a custom boutique approach to provide value added services for all of the unique exposures in the gaming industry.”

The SIG program will offer both admitted and non-admitted paper and will be available to industry participants in all 50 states; all backed by the financial strength of the Everest Re Group member companies, rated A+, XV by A.M. Best.
