New York, NY (October 14, 2016) – With a value-proposition predicated on superior financial stability, innovation, and client service, Everest Insurance™ is pleased to announce a number of strategic additions to the retail property division:

Julianne Pires has joined the Everest New York retail property team as a Director. Julianne joins Everest from Marsh & McLennan Inc., where she was most recently Vice President in the U.S. Property Practice Group, specializing in the structuring and placement of global and national property risks. Julianne’s previous experience as a senior leader in Marsh’s Client Advisory Group aligns well with Everest’s focus on delivering bespoke risk-transfer solutions to brokers and insureds. Julianne holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola University Maryland.

Lisa Petretta, has also joined the Everest New York retail property team as an Assistant Underwriting Manager. Lisa was most recently a Senior Property Underwriter with CV Starr in Boston, where she was instrumental in forging key client relationships while establishing strong retail broker relationships. Lisa’s previous property underwriting experience with both Liberty Mutual, and Great American, serves to add an additional depth of experience that will be valuable moving forward. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from William Paterson University of New Jersey.

Julie Harris, Vice President, and leader of the New York Retail property team commented, “We are excited to continue to build out the Everest Insurance New York retail property team with strong underwriters such as Julianne and Lisa. Their relationships in the space, backgrounds, and experience will prove invaluable as we continue to grow our presence in the marketplace.”

Everest has also strengthened the West Coast Retail Property team with the addition of Anthony Hoang as a Director. Anthony brings over ten years of property underwriting expertise, enhanced by a depth and breadth of experience in catastrophe analytics honed at Swiss Re, where he was most recently a Vice President and Senior Property Underwriter. Anthony will work closely with Jason Ventling, Vice President and Head of Retail Property, in Everest’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Hoang holds dual Bachelor Degrees (Cum Laude) from UC Irvine in both Economics and Political Science.
