WARREN, New Jersey – June 27, 2022 –– Everest Reinsurance, the reinsurance division of Everest Re Group, Ltd. (NYSE: RE) today announced that Joe Stuhl has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Global Distribution, reporting to Anthony Izzo, Global Head of Facultative and Distribution at Everest Reinsurance.

In this newly created role, Mr. Stuhl will lead the reinsurance organization’s global distribution strategy. He will be responsible for deepening relationships and engagement with brokers and cedants and proactively identifying and addressing emerging needs to optimize the customer experience.

Mr. Stuhl brings more than 25 years of experience with a proven track record of delivering superior client service and transformational growth strategies at global reinsurance companies. Most recently, he served as an Executive Vice President and Broker Executive at Munich Re US, where he oversaw all aspects of broker relationship management. Prior to joining Munich Re, Joe was a Senior Vice President and Casualty Team Leader with American Re, where he was responsible for the profitability, management and development of a diverse portfolio. He also served as a Vice President and New York Branch Manager at XL Re, where he managed the company’s largest and most profitable facultative branch, and began his reinsurance career in casualty underwriting with Swiss Re.

Mr. Stuhl holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Drexel University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University, where he graduated cum laude. He also received Executive Management Program accreditations from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. /span>
