Everest Insurance® announced today that Edward Wu has been promoted to the role of Vice President, E&S Excess Casualty National Leader.

LIBERTY CORNER, NEW JERSEY – November 10, 2020 – Everest Insurance® announced today that Edward Wu has been promoted to the role of Vice President, E&S Excess Casualty National Leader. 

In this role, Ed will be responsible for developing and driving strategy and  underwriting discipline, and leading production for the E&S Excess Casualty team nationally. Ed will lead the established team of Everest Insurance® E&S Excess Casualty underwriters that are strategically located in offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Stamford, Los Angeles, and New York. Ed remains based out of the company’s Los Angeles office.

Ed joined Everest Insurance® earlier this year as Vice President, West Coast Regional Manager for E&S Excess Casualty, where he was primarily responsible for the development and growth of the E&S Excess Casualty business in the West Region. Prior to joining Everest, Ed worked as a Vice President and Casualty Manager for the Western Region at Sompo International. Previously, Ed held the role of Assistant Vice President at Arch Insurance Group. Ed has more than 24 years of commercial casualty experience with a focus on excess and surplus lines.
